1. Who we are

ROCA Design Works is a candle atelier based in Fukuoka, Japan, selling candle-making video tutorials at rocadesignworks.com. For any privacy questions, contact support@rocadesignworks.com.

2. What we collect and why

• Email address and name — to deliver and manage your video access. This is the key to your member area.
• Order information (order ID, purchased item, date) — to verify purchases and provide support.
• Access logs (IP address, viewing timestamps) — to keep the member area secure and prevent unauthorized sharing.

3. Payment data

Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Purchases made on Etsy are processed entirely by Etsy. Please refer to Stripe's privacy policy and Etsy's privacy policy for details.

4. What we do not do

• We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.
• We do not send marketing emails without your consent.
• We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this site. Cookies are used only for essential functions such as your shopping cart, currency selection, and member-area login.

5. Where your data lives

Your data is stored on secure servers in Japan. Video streaming is provided through Vimeo; no personal data beyond standard viewing analytics is shared with Vimeo.

6. Your rights

You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (which will also end your video access). Email support@rocadesignworks.com and we will respond within 14 days. If you are in the EU or UK, these rights are provided under the GDPR / UK GDPR.

7. Data retention

We keep your registration data for as long as your video access remains active, plus any period required for tax and accounting records under Japanese law.
